Over almost 50 years, hundreds of community members have contributed their time to help Western Canada Theatre become the company it is today. Volunteering is a fun way to see the inner-workings of theatre. From ushering to assisting with sets and costumes, and helping with audience outreach–there are so many fun and dynamic ways to both contribute to Kamloops' thriving local arts scene and ensure the future of one of Western Canada's most beloved professional theatre companies. It's also a great way to meet new friends and create lasting memories.
We currently have a Volunteer Orientation & Information session scheduled for the season on September 24th at 6:00pm at the Sagebrush Theatre. Anyone interested is welcome to attend. Register ahead of time using the link below, or drop in, and see what it is all about prior to signing up.
