Guillaume Scott is a Kamloops-based rap artist.
Raised in Toronto and then Vancouver, Margit grew up listening to rock, folk and classical music. Her parents always had the stereo on. After moving to Kamloops in 1992, she built a successful career as a local musician and hasn’t looked back since her first gig at Sun Peaks Resort. Rod started playing guitar at age 10 in Vancouver. He was playing in bands at age 16. Rod was a huge part of the Indigenous band “Waskesu” in the mid 1990’s. They had the pleasure of playing for the Prime Minister and playing at the Commonwealth Games in Victoria along with Susan Aglukark and Kashtin. They also had quite a few appearances on Much Music. Put these two together and you have the Margit Sky Project. Rod's First Nations name is Little Sky. The decision was made to combine names. With Margit’s vocals and rhythm guitar and Rod’s jaw dropping lead guitar they have become a very sought after duo in the B.C. Interior and Alberta. They have been fortunate enough to open for Kevin Costner and Modern West, Burton Cummings, Trooper, Barney Bentall, Elliot Brood and Ridley Bent. Margit and Rod are very passionate about their music and have released three cd’s together. The latest CD For the People was released on June 21, 2020. Margit and Rod received a grant from the First Peoples’ Cultural Council to record Rod’s original Indigenous songs. On Sept 12, 2020, the title Track For the People hit #1 on the Indigenous Music Count Down on NCI fm and Sirius xm. They are very grateful to First Peoples’ cultural council for believing in them and giving them the opportunity to have their music heard.

theJamPresents and its shows are the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist and father of two adorable girls aged 4 and 2, Brendan Methot. While his memorable experiences with music and live theatre place him between the two worlds, he usually finds his musical side the easiest to escape to. He began playing piano at age 5, and eventually added the guitar, bass, drums, and banjo to his arsenal. These days, Brendan spends his free time working on new material and playing his guitar in the streets to liven up the moods of people who are sorely missing live music. For your enjoyment during The Remergence Festival, he has invited award-winning pianist Duff Fredricksen for a full hour of non-stop music and stories. Enjoy the shows!

What originally formed as a band to support guitarist and vocalist Matt Stanley’s solo EP The Life & Times in 2008, has developed into one of Western Canada’s most active independent rock ‘n’ roll bands – The Decoys. Comprised of members Stanley on guitar/vocals, Sean Poissant on drums, Kris Ruston on guitar/keys and Jeff Dineley on Bass, the Kamloops, BC based band deliver raw and honest tunes influenced by the spirit of Neil Young, The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty and Led Zeppelin. Their 2011 debut album Stripped, Bare, And On Display, co-produced by Henry Small (Prism, Scrubbaloe Caine, John Entwistle Band), garnered much support from Western Canadian radio for their singles “I Know” and “Modern Disaster”. This was followed by their sophomore effort, 2016’s In Our Blood, which saw the singles “Don’t Hesitate”, “The Underdog” and the title track gain radio play nationally and receive positive reviews. With that support and a growing fan base, The Decoys released the explosive single “Until The Sun” in September 2018 followed by their new EP Damaged Goods November 30. Recorded in 2017 in Vancouver and Kelowna, Damaged Goods showcases The Decoys’ continuing evolution and maturity as songwriters, touching on influences ranging from hard rock and alternative to southern and country rock. The video for “Until The Sun”, filmed just outside of Winnipeg with James Rewucki of Absurd Machine Films, dropped October 5, 2018.
