A performance of original music and colourful projected images by Mother Sun. Combining deliberate psych-pop and rock arrangements with a measured amount of absurdity and experimentation, the four-piece band from the interior desert of Kamloops produces thought-provoking songs that weave melodic, contemplative vocals through colourful tones and jazz-inspired grooves.
Mother Sun is a 4-piece psychedelic pop band from Kamloops that has released 2 full-length albums to date. Three songs from 2019's Caramel Clouds were cleared to appear in the American television series Shameless, and most recently the band has partnered with Birmingham, Alabama-based indie label Earth Libraries to release July 2020's SIPS. Recently, the band has started tracking their third album at Little Red Sounds Studio in Vancouver.

Jared Doherty is a songwriter and musician living in Kamloops, BC who sings, plays guitar, bass, piano, and saxophone.
Emilo Pagnotta is a songwriter, instrumentalist, engineer, and producer out of Kamloops BC . He is a familiar face from bands Mother Sun and Echo Beach.
Alexander Ward is a multi-instrumentalist from Kamloops B.C. Keyboardist, Bassist, Trumpeter and Flutist for Mother Sun. Alexander has performed for WCT before as an actor and musician both on stage and under. Prior to the Pandemic he was gigging most nights with various bands and teaching private piano lessons. Classically trained on piano and bass Alex was raised in a very musical household and subjected to classical, jazz, and rock and roll early in his life.
Jared Wilman of Mother Sun is an active musician in the Kamloops music scene having played with a variety of local bands and musicians, including performing with Western Canada Theatre.
