Kamloops Burlesque is one of Kamloops longest running live shows, entertaining folks for 9 years with over 100 unique shows. Our Risqué Cabaret show will feature some of our most brilliant local performers bringing their very favourite acts to the stage. Rosie Bubbles, Nixie Nefarious, Vanilla Bean and Joe Hotdog, Ivy Nyx, Helena Dress, and Ms Coco Creme are sure to bring the glitz, glam, and cheekiness of the ol' burly-q to you, while our hostess Misty Vine will guide you through the evening with her poignant and award winning sense of humour. Join us for an evening of risque fun. Please note this show is 19+.

Rosie Bubbles. Just like her favourite beverage, pink champagne, Rosie is fun, fresh and sparkling! Rosie Bubbles has been performing with Kamloops Burlesque for 4 years, and has found a love for the classic burlesque bump and grind, funk, and all the vintagey goodness. Her charm and wit shine through her performances, bringing the audience with her on a flirtatious, glittery adventure.

Nixie Nefarious has a background in theatre, but really found her place in the spotlight when she discovered burlesque in 2013. For the past 8 years she has performed in both Europe and Canada, taught burlesque classes in her homeland Sweden and become a member of the Kamloops based burlesque troupe Tits 'n Anarchy. She loves combining the art of storytelling with the art of seduction, like with her angler fish act that brought her to IBBF 2019. This scintillating storyteller loves the fringy side of burlesque and hopes to inspire others to venture into the more unconventional side of performing arts.

Vanilla Bean & Joe Hotdog are the culinary pairing you wouldn't expect to love, but you do. They’ve worked a variety of performing arts for the past decade. Sure to leave you questioning your tastes in art as well as food, this pair is excited to be representing Kamloops Burlesque at the Remergence Festival!

Ivy Nyx has been performing with Kamloops Burlesque for coming up on 4 years. She is a founding member a Tits’n’Anarchy and has performed in a number of festivals with this troupe, including Kelowna Fringe, Hydra Performing Arts Festival, Kootenay Burlesque Festival and Queen City Burlesque. As a lover of all art forms, she also often performs and models with the Kamloops branch of Dr. Sketchys.

She came into burlesque accidently while on a journey to find herself after a dark ending to chapter in her life and has since then fallen in love with the art form and taking down the patriarchy.

She is now our tattooed scream queen who revels in making her audience feel a good mixture of terror and lust.

Helena Dress is a sassy, curvy babe who has been with Kamloops Burlesque for around 3 years. With a deep passion for everything vintage and also a creepy goth side, Helena Dress will surely surprise you and leave you craving to see more.

Ms. Coco Creme has been an avid performer and creator of art for over a decade and a half as an instructor of burlesque, bellydance, lapdance, and 1960’s go-go dancing. She's the producer of the Kamloops Burlesque Showcase - now in its 10th year, and proud owner of Dr Sketchy’s Anti-Art School - Kamloops Branch. Ms Coco has performed and competed through Western Canada and the USA. Driven by a desire to create art without conventional boundaries, Coco loves building radical ideas, working with amazing people, and being a part of the constantly growing performing arts scene in BC! Misty Vine, MC Divine, has been with Kamloops Burlesque for close to five years. A big mouth and even bigger personality, this bodacious babe will tickle your funny bone in ways that only she can. She has graced stages all over BC and Alberta, and yet they still allow her to come back. Misty looks forward to teasing and tantalizing audiences as long as they still let her get on stage.
