A rare tour de force, Spitting Slag takes the audience on a journey from the darkness of a mine cave-in a mile underground to the surface into the bright light of redemption. Shot through with humour and the gritty language of a Sudbury bar on a Saturday night, Mansel Robinson’s play gives voice to the labourer: to the tradition of Billy Bishop Goes to War, add poetry, politics and pathos. Received to acclaim on the Canadian Fringe tour. “A delicious mixture of poetry and industrial reality” — Voir.

Come on an imaginary musical concert tour that breaks the rules from 18th Century London, England to the West Coast of Canada, through the music of two of the greatest 18th century German Baroque composers, J.S. Bach and G.P. Telemann. Cvetozar Vutev, as violinist and composer Leopold Mozart (Wolfgang Amadeus' father), and Curtis Howell, as harpsichord player Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach (one of J.S. Bach's sons), imagine how those two men could have revolutionized the concept of the concert tour.
