UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN: As of May 15 - Western Canada Theatre

Recommended Virtual Theatre

UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN is a curated list of content that we're most excited to check out. Compiled by the staff at Western Canada Theatre, each week we'll send along a few items we've found on channels of other cultural institutions we admire from across Canada and the globe.

Here's a short list of what not to miss this week:

Live Virtual Events in Kamloops

Tourism Kamloops is compiling Virtual Events around town, with the following listed for this week:

Sabrina Weeks & Mike Hilliard Live
Frequent performers at WCT events, Sabrina and Mike are Facebook Live every Tuesday and Friday at 7pm.

Story Telling at the TNRD Library
FOR THE KIDS: Every day Monday to Friday on Facebook.

Oh No George!

FOR THE KIDS: Half Moon Theatre delightfully adapts the famous children's book. George, a dog who is trying to be good — with disastrous results when left alone for the day. Funny for all ages, especially if you've ever owned a puppy. Available for free on Vimeo.

The Encounter – St. Ann's Warehouse

Inspired by Amazon Beaming, a novel by Petru Popescu, The Encounter is what happens when an American photojournalist, Loren McIntyre, happens on the mystical Mayoruna tribe in the Amazon Forest. “… not a voyage into a heart of darkness but of enlightenment.” (Ben Brantley, NY Times).  Streaming for free here through to May 22.
